• Kerr 61 (can be self-service or ITG supported)

Supported -- To use the facilities supported by the Instructional Technology Group, please go to the videoconference registration page. Videoconference rooms include Kerr 25, Kerr 61 and our distance education classroom (BE 156).
There is a minimum charge of $80 for videoconference support. That amount will increase if there are any testing, multipoint and/or recording services required.

Check Around -- There are numerous videoconference devices on campus. Check with your department to see if there is anything you can use.

Desktop Videoconference software:

To participate in a standard videoconference, one needs software that is H.323 compliant. Along with the software, participants need a web camera and headset that are compatible with the videoconference software and computer’s operating system.

Macintosh

• iChat is NOT h.323 compliant, but will communicate with other iChat, MobileMe and AIM users.

There are numerous web conferencing software applications, but few are H.323 compliant. This includes:

There are various devices throughout the county, however, they are used for specific purposes (Dept. of Education, Government Agencies...) and we do not have access to them.
