The Faculty Workstation in Kerr 164 contains four computers: a Gateway PC, a Macintosh G3 with A/V connections, a Macintosh G4 and a Macintosh streaming server. Scanning

Convert text, slides and pictures into electronic form.

  • Text can be recognized,updated and saved.

Record your work onto a zip disk, slides, Jaz disk,VHS videotape, CD Rom or DVD.

Convert your graphics or PowerPoint presentations to slides.

Additionally, you can record a presentation or special event with a camcorder.

Audio and video sources can be digitized and altered through a variety of software we have.

Conferencing

Videoconferencing can be done in BE 318 or BE 156.

Conference calls can be made using a speaker phone or conference phone.
